It is understandable if you are feeling concerned or overwhelmed by the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) especially if you are struggling with your mental health or you have a physical illness. It might also be that you’re anxious about the health of someone in your family, or what impact the virus will have on your life.
Here are some things you can do:
• Talk to someone about how you’re feeling
• Arm yourself with the facts
• Don’t overexpose yourself to the news
• Plan you time
• Find things to do that help you feel calm
• Continue to stay connected to people you can trust
However, if you feel you could benefit from some additional support, then please contact me. At this time of social distancing, I am offering counselling sessions via the telephone or on-line using Skype with some flexibility around the timing of sessions.
I also supervise the work of counsellors and psychotherapists.
Please browse my website and if you would like to find out anything more about me, or the services that I offer, then please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
